An even higher-performance BMW M3 is reportedly in the works with more grunt from its twin-turbo inline six.
What appears to be an internal document detailing the BMW M3 CS has been published on Bimmerpost, outlining both left- and right-hand drive variants.
Production of both will reportedly start in March 2023, suggesting a reveal is imminent. Our photographers have already captured what appear to be M3 CS prototypes in testing.
The leaked document says the vehicle has all-wheel drive and produces 405kW of power from its S58T twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre inline-six, though doesn’t specify which transmission it uses.
BMW doesn’t currently offer a manual transmission with any of its all-wheel drive M3 and M4 models, suggesting an eight-speed automatic transmission is the likely choice.

As of January 14, 2023, Fast Bikes will cease to be the official Malaysian distributor for Triumph motorcycles, subsequently taking on a Honda Big Wing dealership. Accordingly, Motoradic, as exclusive official importer for Triumph, will also relinquish its role.
Fast Bike’s Triumph outlets in Penang, Johor Bahru and Kota Kinabalu will also end operations on that date. A new Triumph motorcycles representative for Malaysia has been appointed but the name has not been officially announced.
For Triumph motorcycles no longer under warranty, Fast Bikes remains available for consultation and advice on service and technical matters. This third-generation Tiguan has a more curvaceous profile than the existing model, with upper body sculpting that’s reminiscent of its larger siblings.
Volkswagen has gone to great lengths to make this prototype look like a current Tiguan with extensive use of white tape and black camouflaged sections.
This is most obvious on the grille, headlights, and tail lights. There are even fake quad exhaust pipes on the rear bumper that are made out of white tape.
It’s expected the new-generation Volkswagen Tiguan will migrate to the latest version of the VW Group’s MQB Evo platform, like the Golf Mk8 and Skoda Octavia.

The Toyota bZ4X has been said to arrive on the Malaysian market in 2023, and now it is official – UMW Toyota Motor has announced that the fully electric SUV will, indeed be making its local market debut next year.
Its arrival next year means that Malaysia will join Thailand and Indonesia in having the BZ4X on sale, having been launched in both those markets in the same month, in November 2022. Pricing for the bZ4X in Malaysia has yet to be revealed, though for reference the electric SUV was priced from launch at 1.836 million baht (RM235,242) in Thailand and 1.19 billion rupiah (RM352,040) in Indonesia.
In Malaysia, pricing for the bZ4X will take into account the exemption from import and excise duties until December 31, 2024, which is the exemption for CBU (fully imported) EVs.

Kia Australia is “very happy” with local reception to the new-generation Niro crossover, but the plug-in hybrid version isn’t likely to rejoin the Australian range.
Kia’s local chief operating officer, Damien Meredith, told CarExpert he’s pleased with current volumes of the new Niro – and the Niro Plus purpose built vehicle (PBV) – but stopped short of indicated a return of the Niro Plug-in Hybrid.
“We’re very happy with the numbers we’re doing,” Mr Meredith said.
“[But] will we bring back Niro Plug-in Hybrid, probably not.”

The Great Wall Motors (GWM) Ora Good Cat electric hatchback finally gets its official Malaysian market launch today, following the opening of order books two weeks ago and having collected more than 100 bookings on the opening weekend. In Europe earlier this year, this car was launched as the Funky Cat.
The Ora Good Cat arrives in Malaysia with two battery capacity specifications in two trim level variants – the 400 Pro and the 500 Ultra, priced from RM139,800 on-the-road, without insurance for the 400 Pro, and RM169,800 for the 500 Ultra.
Both trim levels feature the same powertrain configuration, which is a single electric motor producing 143 PS and 210 Nm of torque driving the front wheels. The 0-100 km/h sprint is done in 7.9 seconds and top speed is 152 km/h, according to Great Wall Motors.
